On the 17th October  several members gathered in Draycott to cheer on The Walking with the Wounded team. We were part of a massive supportive turnout donating 4300 in collecting buckets which was the largest total collected in one location.

The Drop-In Centre has hosted several events thus far. On 7th October a coffee morning; on 18th November a Lancaster Drive (an upmarket Beetle Drive). We were joined by three Northern Area staff members.  On the 5th December a
Pre-Christmas coffee morning was held where we were joined by Santa .

On Friday 8th January The Risley Park once again hosted our after Christmas Dinner. The meal was up to the usual high standard as was the service.  During the evening we were entertained by organist Simon Fox. The president Mike Clulow gave a vote of thanks to Marian and Marion for the work they have put into Welfare and Wings Collecting respectively over the past year. Marian was also this years recipient of the Cyril Lofthouse Cup. The Eric Dyer Shield was presented to Ron Furby for Wings Collecting.

For those who missed the Christmas meal here are a selection of Cracker Jokes.
